Jun 13, 2009 - It got easier to remember all the names when I took Medical Terminology I and Medical Terminology II. Myo- means muscle. Sarco- means flesh. Almost all of the names in health care are of Greek or Latin origin. I didn't find too many of German origin, though somebody told me I would have to take German if I want to work in health care. Spanish has been more helpful, but I took both.
